Jasper - Jasper (Regency Western Gold NJP) is a 9 year old male golden retriever. He is currently in remission from cancer and doing great after 6 weeks of radiation treatment for apocrine ductular carcinoma in the fall of 2007. His current accomplishments and activities include: AKC CGC - Jasper passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test on his first try! Pet Assisted Therapy Dog - He is currently doing visits at the Livermore VA Hospital through the Valley Humane Society. Agility - Jasper trains and competes in agility and earned his AKC Novice Preferred Jumpers with Weaves title as of Oct 1, 2006. He has now earned his first leg towards his OJP and also has now mastered the scary teeter totter (after 4 years of training) and earned his first leg towards his NJP. Dock Diving - Jasper made his dock diving debut in September, 2006. He doesn't jump far, but he sure has fun! He recently improved his personal best from 18 inches to 7'11'!. As of the summer of 2008, he has jumped as far as 11'7" now! Field Training - Jasper has been enjoying doing training towards being able to compete for his AKC Junior Hunter title. At the moment he is limited by his mom and dad not spending the time training him often enough!
