• Wendy Krehbiel, CNWI

  • Wendy Krehbiel is the owner of Tell a Tail Dog Training and offers group classes including K9 Nose Work® classes in Livermore, CA

    Wendy is a Certified Nose Work Instructor. She also graduated from the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, known as the "Harvard of dog training schools." She received a Certificate in Training and Counseling and graduated with honors as co-valedictorian of her class. Wendy also continues to further her education by attending seminars, conferences and workshops by a wide variety of trainers.

    Wendy has enjoyed participating in several dog sports with her own dogs including dock jumping, agility and K9 Nose Work®. She is just starting herding with her new puppy. She is currently focusing on teaching K9 Nose Work® classes so you can learn more about this sport in a fun way!

    Wendy has volunteered with Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue, Northern California Border Collie Rescue and Furry Friends Rescue - she has helped out in a variety of ways including as a foster mom. She loves taking on dogs who are not ready for adoption and helping them to overcome issues before sending them on to loving homes.

    Wendy currently lives with Mica her 4 year old rescue Golden Retriever and Coal her new Border Collie puppy. She has earned agility and nose work titles on multiple dogs.

  • Rena Thomason is a Certified Nose Work Instructor and teaches K9 Nose Work classes for Tell a Tail. Rena has been doing nose work since the very first class I taught in 2009. She has earned a NW3 Elite with her Vizsla, Risco, a NW1 title with her Dalmatian, Izzy as well as a NW1 and NW2 with Ellie the Weimaraner who is owned by a fellow nose work classmate.
