- About the Trainer
Wendy Krehbiel is the owner of Tell a Tail Dog Training and offers both group classes as well as private in-home sessions in Pleasanton, Livermore and surrounding areas.

Wendy recently became a Certified Pet Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers. She also graduated from the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, known as the "Harvard of dog training schools." She received a Certificate in Training and Counseling and graduated with honors as co-valedictorian of her class. Wendy was the first person in California to earn a level 1 CAP certification through Kay Laurence's Competency Assessment Program for clicker trainers. Wendy also continues to further her education by attending seminars, conferences and workshops by a wide variety of trainers including Karen Pryor, Jean Donaldson, Pamela Reid, Trish King, Sue Sternberg, and Greg Derrett.

In addition to giving group and private lessons, Wendy worked as a trainer at Downtown Dogs, a doggie daycare located in San Jose. She also taught agility for fun classes with Downtown Dogs and for the City of Pleasanton. She now continues those classes at her new facility in Livermore.

Whether you have a young puppy who needs to learn some manners, a mature dog who needs to brush up on his obedience or a dog with behavior problems that need addressed, we can help you solve your problems.

Wendy is a volunteer with Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue and Furry Friends Rescue - she helps out in a variety of ways including as a foster mom. She loves taking on dogs who are not ready for adoption and helping them to overcome issues before sending them on to loving homes. She is also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and adheres to the association's code of ethics.
